The woman, from Fuseta, outside Olhão, posted a picture of a GNR police car parked in a drop-off bay immediately after she had been fined €30 for doing the same thing.
Accusing the country of being “corrupt”, she claimed the officers were inside a nearby café having breakfast.
In an unprecedented move, the GNR have launched action against the woman and say they were inside the café trying to identify the driver of another illegally-parked vehicle.

The GNR are to be congratulated. Not just slap on a ticket but go to the trouble of searching everywhere including the cafe to find the driver and politely ask them to move. certainly rings true to me
