The Socialist chief will lead a team of 17 ministers and 41 state secretaries to Belém Palace to undertake an oath to serve the country.
The cabinet is also the second largest since 1976, and is only beaten by the one sworn into office in 2004 under the leadership of Pedro Santana Lopes.
