Portugal came second in the prices of electronic equipment such as TVs, computers or DVD players at the same level as Cyprus and only beaten by Denmark and France jointly which had the highest prices.

As regards cars, motorbikes and bicycles, Portugal was third equal with Finland and Ireland, while the highest prices were in Denmark and Holland.

The prices of services and goods varied widely in Europe in 2017, with Denmark at the top of the table at 142% of the EU average, followed by Luxembourg (127%), while at the bottom the table were Bulgaria (48%) and Romania (52%).

Prices in Portugal were 85.1% of the EU average.
