Cristina Moreira was last seen on Thursday, 20 August, at her place of work in Hammersmith and Fulham “where she appeared to be very unwell with an unknown condition.”
In a statement the UK’s Metropolitan Police service explained: “Cristina declined medical attention and left the premises. She was due to attend a meeting at her workplace on Monday, 24 August but she failed to attend.”
In comments to The Portugal News the Met confirmed Ms. Moreira, who is also known as Funmilaye Oluyedi, is a Portuguese national. She is believed to have been in the UK for “about five years” and, the Met says, at this stage there is “no information to suggest she has left the UK.”
Officers are “extremely keen” to locate Ms. Moreira “as there is every possibility she requires medical attention.”
In an email sent to The Portugal News on Wednesday evening the Embassy of Portugal in the UK said it had “no further information to give on the matter.”
Police are asking anyone who has seen Cristina and knows where she is to contact them on 101 (UK) or (+44) 020 7275 3057.
