According to a statement from the company notes that the number of customers grew 6.3% and revenues rose 8.5% in the last year.

CP pointed out that "passenger volume growth was across all the company's services," but international and Lisbon urban trains recorded the highest increases, from 7.3% to 251,000 and 83 million passengers, respectively.

The Alfa Pendular express train service registered 2.2 million passengers (+5.8%), Intercities trains had 3.9 million passengers (+6.1%), while Porto urban trains had a total of 21.6 million passengers (+3.8%) and the regional service recorded 11.1 million passengers (+3.7%).

CP noted that the volume of passengers transported has "registered successive increases, confirming that thousands of Portuguese people choose to travel by train."
