GNR officers involved in the programme will deliver presentations in schools containing Disney characters that warn about online dangers.
With the main objective of cracking down on cyber-bullying on social networks, the ‘Escola Segura’ awareness-raising campaign is to travel around 5,000 schools throughout the country.
Among the Disney characters are Violetta, The Avengers, Phineas and Ferb and the Penguin Club.
A protocol between the two parties was signed at the beginning of this week in Colares, and sees Portugal become one of a number of countries where Disney works with authorities.
