Each of the winners will receive just over 16.2 million euros, though the Portuguese winner will first have to hand over 3.2 million euros to the taxman before being able to collect the prize.

There was also a second prize winner in Portugal, for a prize of 350,000 euros, minus the 20 percent in tax. The winning numbers were 15, 33, 41, 44 and 47 while the star numbers were 8 and 10.
