The French chain, whose stores sell everything from books and CD’s to IT gadgets and concert tickets, occupies a floor space of 865 square metres in the centre, which serves approximately 145,000 inhabitants.
It is the first FNAC store to open in the Alentejo, located four minutes from Évora city centre, and was inaugurated on Wednesday.
In a statement the French chain said: “This new store aims to enhance visitors’ shopping experience, in line with FNAC’s brand parameters, and the framework for a long-awaited and ambitious commercial offer, not only for the population of Évora, but also for the inhabitants of neighbouring municipalities.”
The new store will also have a FNAC Express Clinic, which aims to provide a “quick and effective response to all needs in terms of installation, repair and diagnosis of technology products, particularly smartphones and computers.”
