The agenda for the meeting, drawn up by the Ministry of Employment, Solidarity and Social Security, includes a debate on the Socialist government’s “agenda for equality”, the presentation of the Simplex programme and the discussion of rules
for unemployment protection for self-employed workers.
The debureaucratisation and administrative simplification programme, Simplex 2016, includes 255 measures that are to be implemented over the next 12 months.
Among other measures in the programme are the lifting of the current requirement for employed workers and pensioners to submit an income tax statement and the possibility of requesting or renewing a driving licence online.
