Rúben Cavaco was beaten in Ponte de Sor on 17 August, allegedly by the two Iraqi youths, who were 17-years-old at the time.
He was left unconscious and had to be placed in an induced coma for several days following the attack, which in an interview the Iraqi twins admitted to being involved in.
The victim’s family lawyer said an agreement was reached on Friday to “close the case” for the family of Rúben Cavaco.
Conflicting reports state the settlement for the viciously assaulted teen ranged from €30,000 to €52,000.
