The strike action has been called by unions who are seeking improved pay packages for their members.
Schools, hospitals and other state services are all expected to be affected. Schools which are unable to provide meals for students will not be allowed to open their classrooms this morning.
Unions say the majority of the country’s 50,000 canteen workers earn the minimum wage and regularly work 12-hour days.
Good. The minimum wage is ridiculous. No wonder the corruption is everywhere. Hope they got what they deserve to get pay. The world is unfair!
