The accident took place on Sunday afternoon just before 4pm on what is a notorious stretch on the road, which has become more popular since the introduction of tolls on the A22 motorway. The collision resulted in extensive delays to traffic on what is also the region’s busiest road.

What is it going to take before the government wakes up and realizes that forcing so many people off the A22 with their ridiculous tolls, and onto the dreadful EN125, is causing terrible traffic hazards and deaths? They should have made sure that EN125 was improved sufficiently before the A22 was made a toll road, so all the accidents and tragic losses are on the heads of the politicians who allowed this disgraceful state of affairs.

Although its a factor, the tolling of the A22 is not the real reason for this crash or any on the 125for that matter. The real reason is the appaling standard of driving by vast majority in the region. A lot of these so called "drivers" should not be allowed on any road.Anyone driving on the 125 has surely experienced.these maniacs
