This was announced by Portugal’s Prime Minster António Costa who is visiting the US for Portugal Day commemorations.
Speaking during a meeting with Silicon Valley executives, the Prime Minster drew a series of comparison between the two regions, and said Portugal would become the first country in southern Europe to offer a direct flight between them.
