From January to July, 57 million tonnes of cargo was moved through the ports, up 7.1 percent on the same period of 2016.
According to a report from the Mobility and Transport Authority (AMT), this growth in volume was attained mainly through the ports of Leixões, Aveiro, Figueira da Foz and Sines.
