“At a time, when in so many parts of the world, there are thoughts of closing borders, limiting international trade, making foreign investment more difficult, this is a good example of how we can gain from open borders, from foreign investment, in a logic of partnership and free trade. It is therefore a good example against protectionism, against closing borders and against an aversion to foreign investment,” Costa said at the OGMA headquarters in Alverca do Ribatejo.
At the inauguration of OGMA’s painting hangar, an investment of over €10 million by Embraer, the Prime Minister said, “We are a country that is a friend of foreign investment, we are open to Embraer’s investment, from other Brazilian companies and from companies from other places. We like foreign investment because we know that, with foreign investment we can do more and we can do better.”
