At about 9:00 in Lisbon, the PSI20 was 1.63% up at 4,329.55 points, after having closed on Monday at 4,260.13.

Apart from BCP shares, which gained 5.71%, to the fairly underwhelming €0.0185, after ending at a historical minimum of €0.0175 on Monday, the biggest increases were seem in Sonae Capital, which climbed 4.37% to €0.549 and Pharol (formerly PT), which went up 4.35% to €0.096.

Similarly, share in bank BPI were up 0.83%, to €1.098, but still below the takeover price of €1.113 offered by CaixaBank for the shares it still doesn’t own.
