Fernando Santos’ team, including Cristiano Ronaldo, striker, Éder, who scored the winning goal in Euro 2016 and goalkeeper, Anthony Lopes, arrived at a hotel in Cascais late on Monday night.
The Portugal team, which is in second place in World Cup qualifying Group B, will play in Andorra on 7 October. The team will return to Portugal on 10 October for a massive game against Switzerland at the Estádio da Luz stadium.
Switzerland is currently the Group B leader and the game in Lisbon could be crucial for the Portuguese team to directly qualify for the World Cup final in Russia.
