The more than 70 jewels that will be on display between May 25 and 28 belong to S.J. Phillips, an antique house founded in 1869 which specialises in silverware, antique jewellery and snuff boxes. Organised in partnership with auction house Sotheby’s, the jewels were acquired over several decades and created in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Portugal from metals and precious stones originating in Brazil.
