The Social Democratic Party won the regional elections with an absolute majority, gathering 44.33% of the vote and leading to 24 deputies from the party being elected.

The CDS-PP remains the second political force in Madeira, with the party polling about 13.69% of votes, however it was the Together the People (JPP) movement that proved to be the surprise result, gaining 10:34% of the vote.
