On Monday, Navigator ended 7.74% down after having been 18% in the red following news it would contest a new US tax on paper sales in the courts.

Navigator said the new antidumping rules would knock about €66 million off its EBITDA and €45 million of its bottom line this tear.

Semapa, which is another Portuguese paper manufacturer fell 2.02% to €18.44.

Today, construction company Mota-Engil dropped 1.23% to €2.81, bank BCP shed 1.15% to €0.25 and Altri lost 1.15% to close at €8.57.

On the other side of the scales, Corticeira Amorim rose 0.95% to €10.64, the post office - CTT - gained 0.25% to €3.16 and renewable energy company EDP Renováveis climbed 0.23% to €8.80.
