A new draft bill that targets crimes of opportunity such as pick-pocketing as well as juvenile delinquency, school crimes, violence in sport and weapons, sets objectives for between now and 2019 and has been submitted to parliament.
The two-year plan also aims to give more importance to investigating crimes, as well as victim support.
