Nine men have been arrested for the crimes of smuggling and damage to nature and seizing 96 kg of eels bound for the Asian market.
In a statement, the Setúbal command of the National Republican Guard (GNR) said that the men, aged between 29 and 73, were detained on Tuesday and Wednesday as part of a year-long investigation.
