Sporting de Braga repeated their win in 1966, after winning a penalty shoot-out 4-2 at Jamor Stadium in Lisbon.

The team, whose colours are inspired by England's Arsenal, led 2-0, but saw FC Porto claw back to level the scores at 2-2 and forcing extra-time.

With the extra 30 minutes failing to break the deadlock, the Arsenalistas were coolest under pressure, scoring all their penalties, while their rivals from Oporto missed two of their spot-kicks.
