Starbucks said a store in the Mar Shopping Algarve centre in Loulé, and one in the Forum Algarve shopping centre in Faro, would open before the end of the year.
The chain estimates its debut in the Algarve will create 35 new jobs and is currently recruiting both for the Algarve and for its new stores that are to open in Porto.
The American brand was launched in Portugal in 2008 and currently has 11 stores in this country, two of which are in Lisbon airport.
