In the statement, the airline said passengers are advised that due to safety reasons Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices can no longer be carried, either on their person or in carry-on or checked luggage on any TAP flight.
The airline said any passengers who brought the phone to the airport would have it removed and it would not be returned.
