Two large solar plants are to take shape in the Algarve city of Lagos, in what has been dubbed a megaproject by Lisbon-based Company Hyperion.

According to newspaper Correio da Manhã the solar-power ‘megaproject’ is in the pipeline for the Lagos hamlet of Bensafrim and represents investment of around €63 million.

 

Environmental impact studies are currently up for public consultation until 7 April.

GOOD ONE COMING FROM THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE.

HOWEVER, BENEFIT OF THE SOLAR PROJECT SHOULD NOT BE THE PRESERVE OF THE ELITE.

WE SHOULD REMEMBER THAT WHEN WE SERVE THE INTEREST OF THE MASSES THEIR WOULD BE LESS TENSION IN THE SOCIETY.
