Two new five-star hotels to be built in Alvor

Two new five-star hotels are to be built in Alvor, in Portimão, representing a total investment of €57 million.

Together the new units will create a further 1,000 beds in the area. According to newspaper Correio da Manhã, the bigger of the two hotels is a Pestana hotel that will cost 50 million euros to build and construction is due to start next month.
It is to take shape between the Delfim hotel and Alto Golf.
The other is a Longevity Health & Wellness hotel, to be built near the Alvor private hospital.
