Promoters Ritmos e Blues have said tickets will go on sale from 26 January, and are limited to four tickets per person.
The band is coming to Portugal as part of the European leg of their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour, which also takes in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Holland, the UK and Ireland.
The tour kicks off on 2 May in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and arrives in Portugal on 31 August, starting in Berlin before passing through a series of cities including Cologne, Paris, Madrid, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Milan, Manchester, London and Lisbon.
The eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour 2018 follows the legendary band’s 14th studio album, Songs of Experience, and both complement the 2014 Songs of Innocence, with this year’s eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour 2018 being a sequel to their 2015 tour.
The last time U2 played Portugal was in 2010, with two concerts at the City Stadium in Coimbra.
