The provisional estimate for the unemployed population in November was 535,300 people and the employed population totalled 1.574 million people.

The definitive unemployment rate in October, according to INE, was 10.6%, falling 0.3 percentage point against the previous month and the same amount against the previous three months.

According to INE, the unemployment rate was higher among women (10.5%) than men (10.4%)compared to October, with the number of unemployed women falling by 0.1 percentage points and the number of unemployed men by 0.3 percentage points.

Unemployment among young people was 28.4%, 0.6 percentage points higher than in the previous month, while among adults it was 9.1%, or 0.2 percentage points lower.
