Portuguese candidates, interested in joining their international team of cabin crew, can present themselves on the indicated days and locations without having previously submitted their application. In January they will be present, in addition to the city of Faro, in four other national cities: in Lisbon, on the 20th (DoubleTree by Hilton), in Porto, on the 22nd (Mercure Porto Santa Catarina), in Coimbra, on the 25th (Tivoli Coimbra) and in Braga, on the 27th (Hotel Vila Galé Collection Braga).

These ‘open days’ aim to facilitate recruitment, which can also be done online, according to a report by Postal.

If accepted, candidates must undergo intensive eight-week training in Dubai, at the airline's facilities.

In terms of salary, the average is 2,500 euros, taking into account the monthly base salary and extras with flying hours. And the entire amount you receive is tax-free, as well as being entitled to free facilities in Dubai, free transport to and from work, free medical support and discounts on shopping and activities in Dubai.

Emirates has been flying to Portugal for 11 years and currently offers 14 weekly flights from Lisbon. The airline is the world's largest operator of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft.
