“With two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays, the new connection between the two sunny cities in the south of Portugal and France will operate during the high season of July and August”, said Transavia, in a statement.

According to Transavia, tickets for the new flights between Faro and Nice are now available for sale and have prices starting at 26 euros for one-way flights.

“We are very proud to open a new route to/from Portugal, one of our most esteemed and strategic markets globally. The new connection between two cities that live off the sun and stand out for their stunning beaches is also a celebration of the diverse cultures and idiosyncrasies that exist throughout the Mediterranean”, says Nicolas Hénin, Chief Commercial Officer of Transavia France, and reported by Publituris.

According to the official, “Nice is becoming an increasingly important base” for the Transavia network, so this new route fits “perfectly into the airline’s development focus” in the region.
