Spain 2-1 France

Randal Kolo-Muani’s early opener was cancelled out by a Lamine Yamal stunner and Dani Olmo in quick succession. France has been disappointing over the course of the tournament – and have failed to utilise their impressive attacking players. Spain, however – just continued to play the football that has got them to this point in the championships. Lamine Yamal once again showed the world what he could do, his goal alone was worthy of a player that should be playing in a major final.

The second semi-final was between the Netherlands and England in the BVB Stadion Dortmund.

Netherlands 1-2 England

Xavi Simons’ thunderbolt gave Ronald Koeman’s side the advantage in the early stages in Dortmund. However, a dubious VAR decision gave Harry Kane a chance to equalise from the spot – which he converted. Kobbie Mainoo was by far England’s best player on the night, controlling the midfield areas with the composure of a player much older than he is. Gareth Southgate’s substitutes Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins would send the Three Lions to the final as the Chelsea man set up Ollie Watkins who scored from an outrageous angle.

Spain will play England on Sunday at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
