LAC - Laboratório de Actividades Criativas announces the 13th edition of ARTURb - Artistas Unidos em Residência. Co-curated by Sofia Fortunato and Nuno Viegas, the programme runs from September 5th until October 26th and includes artistic residencies, exhibitions, murals, conferences and workshops.

The artistic residency will take place from September 5th to 22nd with the following guest artists: Daniela Guerreiro (Portugal), Dodici (Italy), Eric Ve (Germany), Fedor (Portugal), Nuno Alecrim (Portugal) and Tymon de Laat (Netherlands).

This residency aims to create works inside LAC’s building - which will result in a collective exhibition throughout its space - as well as creating murals in the streets of Lagos, offering spectators the unique opportunity to follow the entire process.

There will also be a Community Session on September 15th in the 25 de Abril neighbourhood in Odiáxere, to introduce the artist selected, Eric Ve, who will create a large mural in the same neighbourhood, from September 16th to 20th.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 21st at 6pm at LAC, where there will be an opportunity to meet all the artists taking part in this edition. There will also be a conference on Urban Art and entertainment with a DJ set.

“In partnership with IMINENTE Festival, a collective installation of flags in the Lagos Marina, designed by various Portuguese artists, will be on display at the same time as the exhibition, under the motto DESCENTRALISE.”
