Sporting wins the Portuguese Roller Hockey Cup

Sporting won the Portuguese Roller Hockey Cup for the sixth time on 26 April, retaining the title, by defeating Óquei de Barcelos 4-0 in the final of the 2025/26 edition, in a match played in Tomar.

Argentine Gonzalo Romero, Nolito, scored in the third, fourth, 29th and 45th minutes, the last from a free kick, all four goals for the 'green and whites'.

The 'lions', who had already won the trophy in 1975/76, 1976/77, 1983/84, 1989/90 and 2024/25, reinforced their third place in the ranking, behind FC Porto (19) and Benfica (15), while Óquei de Barcelos remains with four titles.
