The 55-year-old striker continues to break records with his latest signing to Portugal where he is on loan from Japanese club Yokohama FC.
According to Reuters, King Kazu is to turn 56 this month and this will be his 38th season in professional football. His career began in 1986 in Brazil and has since played in six different countries.
"Even though this is a new place for me, I'll work hard to show everyone the kind of play I'm known for," Miura said.
Just one month shy of his 56th birthday, Japan legend Kazuyoshi Miura has joined Oliveirense in Portugal's second tier on loan!
