According to NM, Vladimir Solovyov stated that Russia should annex Portugal, even going so far as to say that "Lisbon was never Russian" and that "that's why it should be".
Attention, Portugal!

"But Lisbon has never been Russian."
"That's a reason why it should be. The Portuguese would live just as fine as part of the Russian empire."

"The Portuguese would live just fine as part of the Russian empire", asserted the Russian propagandist.
“But why do we need Lisbon?", asks one of the other participants in the program. "We don't need it, but I like Lisbon", replied Vladimir Solovyov.
I hope Europe continues united to apply to the Russian Federation the same the US did and does to Cuba: total blockage for at least 100 years.

Typical rubbish Russian propaganda. The West needs to continue to apply sanctions on Putin and hope that the country will eventually move to a more democratic and transparent system of government. Slava Ukraina!

This is one ridiculous propagandist. As if Portugal would become part of Russia. This man needs to get a clue!

What this man really likes most about Portugal is that he likes real Portuguese men like me. And, I love Russian women.

Another idiot Russian who still thinks they are a superpower. Without nukes they would be a laughing stock. as shown in the Donbas.

Too late Vladimir, Portugal has already become a vassal state of the USA. Portuguese foreign policy has become US foreign policy with a Portuguese flag stuck over it, US vulture funds are buying up PT banks, real estate (€1.15 billion in 2022), retail, and -now that northern gas pipelines have mysteriously been blown up- delivering LNG to Europe through Portugal. And, as has happened in so many other countries when they become of interest to US investors, the socialist government has been enmeshed in unproven accusations and forced from office. Lisbon, meanwhile, is touted as "the new California". I don't know why Portugal is worrying about Russia when it is clear that a full scale fiscal assault from over the pond is already taking place.
