This year’s annual meeting of Portuguese ambassadors had the former Italian prime minister, Enrico Letta, as the key note speaker, who talked about “Europe towards the end of the legislature: time to act”.
On the second day of the meeting, it was the turn of Frances minister of Europe and foreign affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Various Portuguese ministers, including the minister of foreign affairs and all the secretaries of state from the foreign ministry participated in the event.
The opening ceremony on Wednesday morning included the chairman of the Fundação Oriente, Carlos Monjardino, and the foreign minister, Augusto Santos Silva.
