Azores Airlines plans to offer 68 weekly flights between mainland Portugal and the Azores archipelago. There will also be eight flights to Madeira, 18 to the United States and eight to Europe/Macronesia.

The airline hopes to increase demand from November 2018 to March 2019 by 3%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

Azores Airlines is currently in the process of selling 49.9% of its capital, with SATA announcing on 17 April that Loftleiðir Icelandic had been pre-qualified for the second phase of the process, emerging as the only qualified potential buyer.
