Olhanense had harried and chased their more skilful opponents all afternoon and when Porto defender Victor Garcia felled Gonzalez Prado a good metre inside the penalty area with five minutes remaining the home fans were jubilant.
But amazingly referee Rui Silva, after blowing for the foul, consulted his assistant and gave a free-kick outside the box. Fans and players vented their anger on the officials who should be very embarrassed when they view the TV replays which clearly show the tackle was well inside the box.
Giraldo then saw red for swinging his arm at an opponent as the home side battled for a point.
In the final minute of stoppage time FC Porto stole the points as Ruben Macedo and Ismael Diaz netted breakaway goals.
SC Portimonense won 3-2 away to SC Braga ‘B’. Jadson gave the Algarve side the lead after five minutes before Braga hit back with goals from Agdon and Simão early in the second-half. Portimonense substitutes Ferreira and Dener, each finding the back of the net in the last ten minutes, wrapped up the points.
SC Farense won 3-1 in Lisbon against Oriental with three goals in the space of seven minutes midway through the second-half.
