Among new proposals are that both men and women now only have to wait 30 days in order to remarry.

The law currently says that men are only allowed to remarry 180 days after the termination of a marriage, while women may only enter into wedlock 300 days later.

This ten-month delay was introduced as the law states that a women’s husband at the time of conception is automatically the father of a child.
