Ikea Portugal expansion director António Machado said that the Algarve store in Loulé, which will include a shopping centre and an outlet, would be open before the summer.
In Portugal, Ikea already boasts stores in Alfragide, Loures and Matosinhos, as well as three production units in Paços de Ferreira, which employ a total of 3,000 workers.
