Portugal’s best tennis player has endured a slump in form this year since reaching a career-high ranking of number 28 in 2016.
But his final loss against Philipp Kohlschreiber has allowed Sousa to this morning climb 11 places in the latest ATP men’s rankings and is now just outside the top 50.
