The two sides agreed to work together to draw up a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT) on 27 May in order to put a stop to crippling strike action staged by the docker-wokers.
Both the dockers’ union and the Ministry for the Sea have played down the fact the deadline to agree new contract details has been missed, and say negotiations continue.
