The inauguration took place at the end of last week and the historic ruins of the theatre now include a museum and permanent exhibitions. The Roman Theatre was the first to be discovered in Portugal a few years after the 1755 earthquake. The Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm; entry costs €2.
