I have tried to ring the consular number above but it is unatainable. Our rescue flight to Manchester UK with easy jet has been cancelled and the next one is not until the 1st May. Please can you advise if the British government are organising any rescue flights to get people home. Easy jet impossible to contact. Any help you can give would be really really appreciated.

We are being kept under strict quarantine in Madeira , Pestana Casino Studios , after my husband had an inconclusive test on landing and I was negative ,this is day 11 , under the documents we signed we should be released on day 14 enabling us to fly home on Sunday 20th September but when I eventually got through to the health authority I was informed they would have to test us again !!! Surely this cannot be correct , we both have employers at home who are losing patience and we are in danger of being sacked , our mental health is suffering and would very much appreciate your assistance as a consul looking after UK residents in their hour of need visiting this country
Kind Regards

My husband is a terminal bowel cancer patient under treatment at the UCLH in London. We were visiting Madeira for X'mas and New Year (Dec 2020-Jan 2021) and our return flight to London on BA has been cancelled twice and is not scheduled to fly back until the end of March 2021. My husband urgently needs medical assistance to resume his chemotherapy and to gain access to home oxygen and the other medications he needs to control his symptoms. We do not have any valid medical insurance and would appreciate urgent assistance to find out how we can access medical treatment in Madeira for my husband using our EHIC cards before his condition deteriorates and we are forced to admit him into hospital. Please respond urgently.

I may have a problem. I needed a void test as part of the requirement to return to UK on 22nd Oct. Although l am perfectly well, this test was positive (l firmly believe a false positive). I have a test at the hospital at 18:30 hours today. If negative which l really hope, all will be well. If by chance it is positive, please advise what help is available.
