Non-league União de Leiria, where José Mourinho started his managerial career, won the penalty shoot-out after holding their visitors to 2-2 after extra-time.
Olhanense notched up their first win of the season in a hard fought 1-0 victory at Lisbon non-league outfit Scavenense. A second-half Cissé penalty settled the issue after Scavenense had rattled the woodwork early on.

SC Farense needed extra-time to overcome Angrense 2-0. The 3rd round draw took place on Thursday with the eighteen Primeira Liga teams joining the other forty-six teams in the hat.
The lower-ranked team in each third round tie will play at home. Games to be played over the weekend 15/16 October.
