the Portuguese civil protection authority (ANPC) registered 255 occurrences on Tuesday afternoon and evening, including over 80 fallen trees, because of high winds and heavy rain, particularly in the centre and north of the country.
The authority said that apart from trees, several small structures had been blown over and there had been some minor flooding.
