Figures published this morning have shown that traffic fines have risen considerably the past year.
According to collated data from the GNR and PSP police forces, more than a million drivers were caught speeding the past year.
This comes as officials say 35 people died on the country’s roads during the first three weeks of the year, which is up by 25 percent on the same period in 2018.
