Its two occupants, aged 72 and 22, were pulled from the water and taken to the Garcia da Orta Hospital in Almada by rescue services, having suffered only light injuries.
The aircraft was also removed from the river yesterday afternoon. Portugal’s air crash investigation bureau is investigating the incident.
