With a script by Andrea Mann, "Fado!" follows the character Linda, played by Emily Watson, the mother of the family, who is also a singer, and her husband, Jim, a music teacher played by Grant, on the eve of celebrating 30 years of their marriage , with a trip to Lisbon. Before leaving, Linda discovers "a secret that will shake" their life together.
